Combined Plan Student Information
Welcome to Columbia University! We are excited that you will be joining us.
There are several important pieces of information for you to consider as you prepare for the 2012-13 academic year. This is the only general information sent from the Center from Student Advising to Combined Plan students. Any additional updates, some of which are outlined below, will be sent via electronic mail due to the individualized nature of the information provided. Please be sure to activate your Columbia e-mail account if you have not already done so.

In addition to these links, I want to highlight important information regarding advising, Columbia e-mail accounts, registration, residential programs, housing, and final transcripts.
Advising
During the Summer, your advising contact will be Dean Ferraiuolo. In early August you will be assigned an Advising Dean in the Center for Student Advising. This will be an advising dean that works directly with the department of the engineering major you have chosen. You will also have a faculty advisor in your selected major who will address your questions about course selection, program planning, and course equivalencies during orientation.
More specific information about your Engineering major will be included in an email later this summer. This email will include department contacts, course plans, and instructions to file course equivalency forms if necessary.
Residential Programs and Housing
The Associate Director who oversees your residence hall, Carleton Arms, is Darleny Cepin. Darleny is responsible for community development and policy enforcement in the residence halls. Her contact information is listed below.
Housing assignments will be made throughout the next few weeks. Contact uah@columbia.edu with any questions.
