Information for International Students Matriculating at Columbia University Fall 2012
For the last several summers Student Affairs has coordinated our Summer Advising Programs for newly-admitted undergraduates with the University-wide receptions hosted by the Columbia Alumni Association in a number of cities throughout Asia. Because many graduate students attend these events and see our “Student Affairs” titles, we are often asked questions which, unfortunately, we cannot answer.
As we prepare for the upcoming CAA events in Asia next month, we would like to gather some brief information from our Dean of Students colleagues across the University so that we can answer, when asked, some very basic questions and—most importantly—direct entering graduate students to the people who can provide more specific information.
We would be grateful if you could complete the form below. We will compile the information everyone sends us into a sort of “fact sheet” so that staff who are working the various events will be able to answer some of the questions these enthusiastic (sometimes anxious!) new Columbians ask.
Thanks very much for your assistance.
