I will be the first person in my family to graduate from University. Growing up the son of a dairy farmer and Mennonite has allowed me to have a rather different and beautiful perspective from many if peers. As a first generation student studying Sustainable Development, I plan to take my love for the environment and equality to pursue a JD degree in order to further environmental justice in rural communities that are often neglected.
