Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form (Spring 2015)

Community Development advisers request that groups complete the Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form in order to better assist advisers with negotiating space reservations for student group events taking place during Spring 2015. Remember, Your Pre-Calendaring submission in Virtual EMS must be submitted BEFORE you complete the Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form.

The form's ranking system allows for you to clearly communicate your priorities to us as we represent your group. We know that you think the time, date, day of the week, and location are all "very important". However, when you step back and consider your request, you may realize that having your event on a certain day of the week is actually more important than having it on a specific date. Likewise, you may decide that any date is fine as long as you can get a specific location during evening hours. Ranking the importance of all of these categories will help guide us as we work to accommodate your needs.

We ask that you submit a Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form for your group’s major events no later than Thursday, November 13, 2014 by 11:59pm.

If you have any questions regarding the use of this form please contact your adviser for more information.

Review each category of your event including the exact date requested, the day of the week requested, the time requested and the location requested. Select the level of importance for each category ranking them from “1-Very Important” to “4-Flexible.” Note: Each category must be ranked differently so that only one category will be selected as “1-Very Important”. The more difference you indicate between categories the more likely you are to get your greatest need met. For example, if a particular space is more important than a particular time, ranking the space as “1-Very Important” and the time as “3-Somewhat Important" will communicate your needs and allow us to advocate for you as realistically as possible.
