Columbia Engineering Women's Forum

Sophomore, Junior and Senior young women in high school with interest in engineering and applied science are invited to join us for our second annual Columbia Engineering Women's Forum on campus in October. With 37% of this year's first-year class comprised of women at Columbia Engineering, we are one of the most diverse schools of engineering in the country, and we aim to continue to support diverse voices on campus.

At the Women's Forum students and parents will meet renowned Columbia Engineering faculty, be introduced to Columbia's unique approach to engineering, and learn about the exciting opportunities available to female engineers today.

Saturday, October 24, 2009
12:30pm-5:30pm
Check-in at Low Memorial Library

We encourage prospective students and families also to attend the general information session and campus tour before the event from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Please visit the Directions to Campus & Parking webpage for more information on traveling to campus.

Due to overwhelming demand, registration for the Columbia Engineering Women's Forum is now closed. Due to the intimate nature of the program, we will not be able to accommodate walk-in guests on the day of the event. Interested students are encouraged to instead attend an Information Session and Campus Tour held each weekday and many Saturdays, as well as an Engineering Tour, held every Friday. To register visit www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/calendar.php.

Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with any questions about the Columbia Engineering Women's Forum by e-mailing ugrad-ask@columbia.edu or calling 212-854-2522.
