The Columbia Family

The Office of Parents/Family Programs, located in the Division of Student Affairs, welcomes and supports the family members of current students.  There are many opportunities for parents and families to get involved at Columbia, from attending Parents Weekend to volunteering at Days on Campus.  Scroll down for more information on how parents and families are encouraged to support their students and become active members in the worldwide Columbia community.

Columbia offers several resources for parents and families as they orient to Columbia and help support their students through graduation. 

The Division of Student Affairs
Student Affairs supports the academic and co-curricular mission of Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science while enabling students to excel through the co-curricular experiences.

The Family Handbook
The Handbook is a helpful guide for parents of current students, provid ing information on how Columbia communicates with families, our advising system, curriculum, co-curricular involvement, as well as important dates and events.

Family Connection Newsletter
Published each semester, the Newsletter keeps parents and families updated on policies, events, and student resources. 

Columbia Pride (Volunteer Information)
As a parent or family member of a Columbia student, you can connect and give back to the Columbia community in many ways.  Find out more!
