Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the Ronald E. McNair Fellows Program, applicants must:

• Complete at least 62 points;

• Have a 2.6 minimum cumulative Columbia GPA;

• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident;

• Qualify as either a first-generation college student who meets the U.S. Department of Educations’ economic guidelines, or a member of a population that is underrepresented in graduate education.
