Resources for Students
The following pages provide basic information to help your group succeed on the Columbia campus. Their purpose is to assist you throughout the process of planning and carrying out a successful program or event.
The greatest resource that Community Development has to offer, however, cannot be found here. Your group adviser can offer experience, advice, and assistance.
So, after your board meeting ends at 11:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and you are brimming with energy and excitement over the great ideas discussed by the group’s leadership team, you can refer to these pages to learn how to transform these ideas into successful programs and events. But make sure to contact your adviser as this relationship will prove very helpful in the process of achieving your group’s goals.
