Completing the Student Travel Registration Form and related travel registrations for international trips is required for any student traveling under the Columbia University name (i.e. student group, academic project, or administrative program) and/or using any University funding for the trip. The information collected here is used to support you on your trip in case of an emergency.

• For day/overnight/weekend, domestic trips, the Student Travel Registration Form should be completed 48 hours in advance.
• For domestic trips longer than 48 hours, the Student Travel Registration Form should be completed one week in advance.
• For any international trip, the Student Travel Registration Form should be completed two weeks in advance.
