2011 George William Curtis Prize in Oration
Compete for cash prizes!

The annual Columbia College speech contest for the George William Curtis Prize in Oration will be held this year on

Wednesday, May 4, 2011
1:00-3:00 p.m.
602 Hamilton Hall

Open to Columbia College students, the contest offers cash prizes to the winner in each of the two categories:

• Informative (4-6 minutes)
• Persuasive (5-7 minutes).

Registration starts at 12 Noon on Thursday, 21^st April. To enter the competition and receive competition guidelines, email Hazel May, Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the following information:

1. your name
2. your CU email address
3. your cell #
4. the speech category in which you wish to compete.

The contest is limited to ten entrants in each category, but an unlimited waitlist will be maintained.
