Alternative Break Program Board Member Position Openings
The Alternative Break Program is currently seeking Board Member applicants for the 2012-2013 academic year. The Alternative Break Program (ABP) is a student-led, administrative managed program that provides guidance and financial support for students’ service trips over spring, summer, and winter breaks. The ABP seeks to foster student leadership development and a life-long commitment to service and civic engagement by supporting student-driven service trips.
We are looking for dedicated, organized and creative students that are interested in the development and sustainability of this new program at Columbia University. Responsibilities will include training session development, funding allocation decisions, grant writing, trip management, event planning and attendance at all ABP related events and meetings.
