The Putnam Exam

Every year on the first Saturday in December, the Mathematical Association of America holds a mathematical competition known popularly under the name "The Putnam Exam" (its full name is the "William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition").

The competition is open to all regularly enrolled undergraduates in colleges and universities in the United States and Canada, who have not yet received a college degree.

Ronald E. McNair Fellows Program-Information Session

The McNair Fellows Program, housed within Academic Success Programs and the Center for Student Advising, is a federally funded program that prepares low-income, first-generation and/or underrepresented undergraduates for doctoral study.

McNair provides participating students with opportunities to conduct and present research, expenses-paid travel to conferences and seminars on graduate school admissions. If you are interested in learning more about McNair, please attend one of the two remaining information sessions:
