As we approach the end of the semester, I am writing to remind you of the policy on Incompletes.
While most students complete the semester without incident - they take their finals, write their papers, and complete all work within the set deadlines – some students experience incapacitating illness or serious family emergencies. Students in these rare circumstances may request an Incomplete. Supporting documentation of the emergency situation is, however, required.
ENHANCE YOUR RESEARCH POTENTIAL WITH LIBRARY WORKSHOPS
A series of library workshops in the next three weeks provide an excellent opportunity to acquire new skills for your work and research in the months ahead, with presentations on digital video editing, bibliographic citation management, qualitative analysis of textual, image, and media sources, personal database creation, and a new class on options for creating and managing research notes and sources.
Take a break from hitting the books and stop by 401 Lerner on Thursday, May 3rd from 12pm – 2pm!
Effective study habits include taking breaks to de-stress and refresh so come by the Center for Student Advising and enjoy some food, caffeine, and good company before returning to the library.
We're looking forward to the Varsity Show this week! :)
Final Exams are Friday, May 4 – Friday, May 11
Your Final Exam Schedule is available through SSOL under the “My Exam Schedule” link on your “Student Schedule” page.
