Would you like to polish your presentation skills? With this interactive workshop, you can learn how to speak with confidence and command your audience’s attention with some simple guidelines for public speaking. Adam Grupper, President of Act Professional and a professional actor, coach and trainer specializing in the application of acting techniques to organizational and business settings, will lead this workshop. Attendees are asked to prepare a presentation they would like to work on, no more than4 minutes in length. It can be a complete presentation or an excerpt from a larger one, and can be on any topic (No PowerPoint, please). In addition, we are seeking 5 to 6 volunteers to deliver their presentations and receive coaching. This workshop is aimed at helping you understand the various components of job offers and compensation packages and how to negotiate with your employer to best position yourself to optimize your compensation. This workshop is suitable for students of all majors and career interests, but is especially useful for those who are beginning, or in the midst of, their job searches.
