If you're interested in working in media, CCE has a full lineup of events and programs for you. Starting this week connect with alums and employers to learn what it's like to work in media and how to break into the industry.
- 3/8, #CCECareerDay : Follow a filmmaker, Thrillist recruiter, arts entrepreneur, and film distributor VP as they tweet about what it's like to work in their fields.
- 3/21, Media Networking Night : Mingle with over 300 networkers including representatives from Condé Nast, The Huffington Post, MLB Advanced Media (MLB.com), NBC Universal, and WebMD. Get ready by attending a preparation workshop on 3/19 .
- 3/28, Professional in Residence : Meet one-on-one with Jocelyn Greenky, SVP of Digital Media at Colin Cowie Lifestyle, to learn about potential career tracks, ask about interviewing and resumes, and gain insider advice on the industry.
- 3/29, Site Visit to Ruder Finn and 4/27, Site Visit to MTV Networks : Tour the offices of Ruder Finn and MTV Networks, and meet with professionals from a variety of departments.

Whether you have secured an unpaid summer service/non-profit internship in NYC, you are interested in proposing a summer project to benefit Community Impact, or you are interested in working with Professor Roosevelt Montas to develop a service learning component for his class, the Van Amson Service Fellowship is right for you!

Internships: Get Real World Experience This Summer ( STEP )
Employers are still hiring for science, technology & engineering related internships. Positions are available at Infosys (India or China – various majors available), Industrial Technology Research Institute (Taiwan- Elec. Engr, Comp Sci, Sciences, HR), and RockPaperRobot (Brooklyn - various majors available). Application deadlines for these positions are between March 3 – 18th. Columbia College Alumni and Parent Internship Fund 2012
Apply to fund your unpaid summer internship! Currently registered Columbia College rising juniors and seniors, in good standing with at least a 3.0 GPA, who receive Columbia grant-based financial aid and have secured an unpaid internship for summer 2012 are eligible to apply. Applications are due on April 18, 2012.
