Employer Information Sessions are starting this week!
Attending an information session is a great way to familiarize yourself with a company or industry’s employment opportunities and hiring practices, but it’s important to prepare ahead of time. Here are just a few of the ways to make the most of an info session :
- Brush up on your knowledge of the industry and company so that you can ask more meaningful questions.
- Dress professionally. Show up on time and give the presenter(s) your undivided attention.
Take notes to help in writing cover letters and interviewing with the company.
