Looking for a Spring internship and want to be working with an exciting organization focused on issues that interest you?
The Columbia Communities in Action (CCIA) Internship Program has opportunities at over 20 New York City non-profit organizations that are waiting for YOU! CCIA exists to provide students with civic and community engagement-focused paid internships. These internships provide excellent opportunities to build, develop, and strengthen highly transferable skills in a hands-on environment.

Internships are available with the following organizations: International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission, Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum, New York Cares, Homeless Services United, Feed Foundation, AIDS Walk New York, Children for Children, American Society for Muslim Advancement, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Women’s City Club of New York, Jewish Child Care Association, Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, Civitas NYC, Vera Institute of Justice, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Human Rights Foundation, New York Urban League, and World Savvy
The Columbia Communities in Action (CCIA) program is sponsored by the Center for Career Education and the Office of Student Group Advising. This program is open to all full time undergraduate students in CC, SEAS, and GS - all majors are highly encouraged to apply! Internships take place during the Spring semester and a $500 stipend is included. Those selected for the internship will be part of the CCIA program, which will provide additional professional development and networking opportunities throughout the semester.
