Make your vision a venture: The Columbia Engineering Venture Competition has arrived so get ready to compete for a prize pool of $50,000 and make your idea a reality!

What is the Columbia Engineering Venture Competition?
The competition, with a prize pool of $50, 000, was first launched in 2009 to support early-stage ventures by young Columbia entrepreneurs.  It is open to all Columbia University students and young alumni (graduates of ’09-13) but must include at least one Columbia Engineering student or alumnus.  Your venture idea should be innovative and ideally, design and product focused.

Dates and Deadlines

  • March 9, 11:50 p.m.- Executive Summaries due
  • April 6, 11:59 p.m.- Second Round submissions due
  • April 25- Final round with live judging on campus
