The Fulbright Scholarship

Established in 1946, the Fulbright program aims to increase mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries, through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. The George Mitchell Scholarship

Planning on pursuing graduate studies in an institution of higher learning in Ireland or Northern Ireland? The Mitchell Scholarship is designed to introduce and connect generations of future American leaders to the island of Ireland, while recognizing and fostering intellectual achievement, leadership, and a commitment to public service and community. The Rhodes Scholarship

Learn about the oldest international fellowship directly from Raphael Graybill –Columbia College’s very own 2010 Rhodes Scholars – before he heads over to Oxford to begin his studies. He will provide insights into the application process as well as share his strategy for putting together the best application possible.
The NSEP Boren Scholarships and Fellowships

The Gates-Cambridge Trust

The Gates Cambridge Trust supports an international scholarship program for outstanding students from outside the United Kingdom who gain admission to the University of Cambridge to pursue graduate study or a second bachelor's degree. The Winston Churchill Scholarship

The Henry Luce Foundation

The American-Scandinavian Foundation

Critical Language Scholarship

The CLS program is part of a US government interagency effort to increase dramatically the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. It is expected that participants will continue their language study after the scholarship period and later use their skills gained in their future career. Meet a scholar who studied Arabic in Tunisia to learn more about the application process and the actual overseas experience.
The Morris K. Udall Scholarship

The Udall Foundation seeks future leaders in environmental fields, including policy, engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, and economics. DAAD: Rise Program

RISE is a summer internship program for undergraduate students from the United States, Canada and the UK in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering.
