This popular annual program features Columbia College and School of Engineering and Applied Science alumni who have pursued a career in medicine. A panel presentation and the reception which follows offer students an opportunity to learn from and speak to Columbia alumni.

Dr. Frank Lowy CC68
Specialty: Infectious Disease
Dr. Lowy is an Attending Physician in Infectious Disease at NY Presbyterian Hospital.  Dr. Lowy splits his time between research and patient care. 

Dr. Jenna Wright McCarthy CC88
Specialty: Occupational Health
Dr. Wright McCarthy is the Clinical Director of Workforce health and Safety at NY Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Avez Rizvi CE 04
Specialty: Radiology 
Dr. Rizvi is a resident within the Department of Radiology at Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr. Uchenna Acholonu CC96
Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Acholonu is an Attending Physician in OB/GYN at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hosptial.  This July he will complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.

Dr. Glenn Silbert CE75 PS79
Specialty: Ophthalmology
Dr. Silbert is on staff in the Department of Ophthalomology at Hackensack University Medical CEneter and the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
