Fall 2012 Blood Drive...and recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness
Because of YOUR blood donation:
- Three lives can be saved!
- Red blood cells can be extracted for use in trauma or surgical patients
- Burn and accident victims, organ and tissue transplant candidates, hemophiliacs, and other blood disease sufferers can benefit.
- Platelets can be harvested for use with cancer patients (in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2012, donors will receive a free backpack during all October drives - while supplies last).
One in three people will need blood sometime during their lifetime, making your donation truly a “gift of life”. Won’t you help save someone’s life today?
The University-wide fall 2012 blood drive campaign runs from Monday, October 15, through Monday, November 5. Register online at:*

*Please note that it is still possible to donate, simply by walking up on a particular day.
