FREE Environmental Creative Writing Class - Starting March 19th

Then this FREE environmental creative writing class is for you! 

"O Sweet Spontaneous Earth" is a 4-week seminar/workshop in which we will study a plethora of genres and styles related to environmental creative writing, including: travel writing, food writing, science writing, journalism, poetry, essays, and memoir.  We will read writers like Matsuo Basho, Annie Dillard, Ray Gonzales, Henry David Thoreau, Ursula Le Guin, Jamaica Kincaid, Michael Pollan, and more.  Each week we will tackle two approaches to environmental creative writing, and then we will write our own experiments.  

Class begins Monday, March 19th 2012
Class info: Mondays--Room 407 Dodge Hall (School of the Arts)--4:00-6:00 p.m.
