Important Message about Study Abroad Eligibility

As you prepare to register for the fall 2010 semester, keep your study abroad plans in mind. If you are considering studying abroad next spring, you should meet with Dean Scott Carpenter (105 Carman) as soon as possible to discuss how next semester’s courses can help prepare you for the experience. Study abroad applicants need to have adequate language training and must take at least one course pertaining to the country or region where they intend to study.

Please visit the College’s study abroad website for details:

You should also stop by Dean Carpenter’s open hours or e-mail him at sc2764@columbia.edu for more information on study abroad eligibility and requirements.
