Literature Humanities and Contemporary Civilization
Students enrolled in Literature Humanities and Contemporary Civilization will have their registration automatically rolled over for the Spring 2011 semester.

Students wishing to change sections may do so via on-line registration, using the “Replace” feature whenever it is possible to do so.

Frontiers of Science
Students scheduled to take Frontiers of Science will be automatically registered for the Frontiers lecture (SCNC 1000) but students must register themselves for the Frontiers seminar (SCNC 1100) that best suits their schedules.

University Writing
Students scheduled to take University Writing (English C 1010) must register themselves for the course.

JANUARY CORE REGISTRATION PETITION PERIOD FOR  Literature Humanities, Contemporary Civilization, African Civilization, Art Humanities, Music Humanities, Frontiers of Science runs from Tuesday January 18 to Monday January 24, 2011.

During this time, students unable  to register or change sections of the Core courses listed may file petitions to do so at the Center for the Core Curriculum, 202 Hamilton Hall between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

Changes will only be made for students who have conflicts with other Core courses or required classes. Students may petition only once to change sections.

ATTENDANCE in Core classes is always crucial, but it is particularly so during registration period– if you miss the first two classes, you will be removed from the roster.

Last day to ADD a Core Class:  Monday January 24, 2011 at 5pm
After this date students MAY NOT add a Core class.  Students with questions and concerns should see their Advising Deans.

Last day to DROP a Core Class: Friday January 28, 2011
After this date students MAY NOT drop their Core classes.  Students should note that the Core drop deadline applies to all students regardless of school affiliation.  Students with questions and concerns should see their Advising Deans.
