2014 Premedical Advisory Committee (PAC) Evaluation Process MANDATORY Info Sessions

(You need only attend one session)

Planning to apply to medical, or dental school this summer for entrance in 2014? If so, you must attend one of the MANDATORY meetings regarding the Premedical Advisory Committee Evaluation Process.  If you don’t know what this is you can learn about it here: http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/preprofessional/health/application/recommendations.php

If you have attended this meeting in the past and decided to delay your application for some reason, we still would like you to attend so that we might update you on any new information.  If you have completed a PAC application in the past, you will be required to complete an UPDATE application.  You will learn more about this at the meeting.  We ask that you attend the meeting for the first 30 minutes.

If you cannot attend either of these meetings because of class conflicts, or because you are out of the NYC area, you should email preprofessional@columbia.edu and include your name, conflict, UNI and email.


The information session will cover the following:

* assignment of premedical advisor and committee member

* distribution of important application materials

* explanation of the committee process and procedures

* outline of application timeline

Applicants for 2014 admission must submit the Premedical Advisory Committee Application (distributed at the meeting) by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013

This session is only for Columbia College and Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science undergraduates and alumni/ae.
