Needed: Seniors Who Desire a Career in Business and/or an MBA in the Future (5/12)
Dear Columbia College Seniors,
Congratulations graduates! Now, as you make your next steps, we would like to seek your advice. Columbia Business School is looking at new and innovative ideas for its MBA curricula. We would like to hold a focus group to hear your thoughts and insights. In particular we are looking for those of you who have already secured a business related position (e.g., finance, consulting, marketing), or are looking for such a position. If an MBA degree is a possibility, you are in our target group.
When: Thursday, May 12, 2011, 12:30-2:00PM.
Where: Columbia Business School (location will be provided to participants)
What: A conversation with Professor Charles Jones, Robert W. Lear Professor of Finance and Economics and Chairman of the Finance and Economics division at the Business School. Professor Jones will make remarks on current financial issues (like whether high-frequency trading is a good thing) and will lead a conversation on the new models of business education.
Special incentive: Lunch will be served.
If you are interested, please email Casey Granton (jcg2128@columbia.edu) and RSVP. Space is limited so please RSVP at your earliest convenience.
Best,
Amir
