The Chazen Institute’s Global Leadership Matrix (GLeaM) Program invites you to join Arianna Huffington discuss how the ‘Third Metric’ relates to both current and future global leadership challenges.  The event will be accompanied by a book signing of Huffington’s latest and 14th book, “Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder.”  For more information on the book or to purchase a copy before the event, click here.

The event will be moderated by Sheena Iyengar, the Inaugural S.T. Lee Professor of Business at Columbia Business School, director of the Global Leadership Matrix (GLeaM), research director at the Jerome A. Chazen Institute of International Business, and author of “The Art of Choosing.”  She received a PhD in social psychology from Stanford University (1997), a BS in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1992), and a BA in psychology, minor in English from University of Pennsylvania (1992).

The Global Leadership Matrix (GLeaM) was launched at Columbia Business School in 2011 by Sheena Iyengar. GLeaM's mission is to advance and promote understanding of leadership in a global context.  Click for more information on the Jerome A. Chazen Institute and the GLeaM Initiative.

Arianna Huffington is the chair, president, and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, a nationally syndicated columnist, and author of fourteen books. In May 2005, she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that quickly became one of the most widely read, linked to, and frequently cited media brands on the Internet. In 2012, the site won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting. In 2013, she was named to the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. In 2006, and again in 2011, she was named to the Time 100, Time magazine's list of the world’s 100 most influential people. Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in economics. At 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union. She serves on several boards, including EL PAÍS, PRISA, the Center for Public Integrity, and the Committee to Protect Journalists.
