General Information Session
Are you thinking about studying abroad next spring, or next year? Come to our General Information session to learn about all of the possibilities of integrating a term or year abroad into your time at Columbia. Topics covered will include: eligibility, types of programs, language requirements, programs in English, programs for scientists & engineers, credit, and more. Students who have studied abroad will speak about their experiences abroad and answer questions. Come hear first-hand stories about living in Senegalese home stays, managing the Argentine transport system, acing the end of term exams at LSE in London, and living in France like a Parisian. All undergraduates (CC, SEAS. GS) are welcome.

Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies Info. Session
Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies Information Session Come learn about study abroad opportunities in Kyoto during the academic year and summer. Talk to faculty, advisors, and returned students to figure out what is most appropriate for you.
The rigorous academic year or semester program is appropriate for students wishing to focus on Japanese language and cultural studies. Study with Japanese students and live with host families.
The summer program covers fourth year Japanese or classical Japanese.

Portuguese Program in Rio de Janeiro Information Session
Please join us for an information session about Columbia’s new summer Portuguese program in Brazil.
The six-week summer program offers intensive training in Intermediate Portuguese for motivated undergraduate and graduate students who have completed Elementary Portuguese for Spanish-Speakers or Elementary Portuguese II. The program is based at the Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC-Rio), pronounced 'pookie', a wooded campus located in the Gavea district of Rio. Courses are taught by the PUC-Rio language instructors and faculty from Columbia.

Columbia-Penn in Paris at Reid Hall Info. Session
A structured fall, spring, or academic year program for advanced French students that provides the academic support and tools necessary to take courses at French universities. Live with French families or on your own.
A summer program allows students to choose from a range of courses at the intermediate and advanced levels in French language, literature, art history, and French studies.
