Summer Study Abroad opportunity for Biomedical Engineering Students
ATTN: Biomedical Engineering Students
Still at a loss for what to do this summer? Interested in combining academic work with time abroad? Then why not consider the Paris Saclay International Summer School?
Under the framework of the University Paris Saclay, you have the opportunity to spend 3 or 6 weeks in Paris, to experience life in a new and culturally rich environment and to enhance your education through classes in Engineering for Health. The program this summer is devoted to Imaging, Sensing and Processing applied to Biomedical Engineering. Courses are taught in English.
Program dates are May 24 - July 6, and classes are offered in three sessions.
The course syllabi have already been reviewed and approved by the Biomedical Engineering department and students can expect to receive credit towards their degree for these courses. Students will, however, have to obtain individual course equivalences and have them signed by the departmental adviser, ahead of studying abroad, in order to ensure that you and the department agree on how the courses will be applied!
Please also note that you will have to go through the Office of Global Programs in order to be cleared to study abroad and thereby be able to transfer the credit back to Columbia.
