In the meantime, you may have heard the news about an employer asking a candidate for his Facebook password. This is not common practice - don't feel obligated to give this information to an employer. Nevertheless, it's vital that you maintain your professional image on social media sites. Per Jobvite - 89% of employers use social networks in their recruitment so keep your profiles, pictures, blogs, and tweets clean to avoid problems over a questionable social media presence.
