First years to Seniors - Gain experience! College graduates who have completed internships or other hands-on experiences are more likely to receive job offers and have higher starting salaries than their peers who do not. Experience also allows you to see if a job or career is a good fit for you.

There are multiple ways to gain experience, including the following:

• Spring or summer CCE internship programs
• LionSHARE for full-time and internship opportunities
• Research opportunities such as URIP , SURF , and SURP
• Volunteer on or off campus - check out Community Impact
• Student clubs, councils, and/or professional associations

Actively engage with CCE to explore options and create a plan for your career activities while at CU.
