It is not necessary to register for the exam. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam begins at 8pm.

Interested in social justice and sustainability? Join us for the fourth spring 2013-2014 Speaker Series "Social Justice with UNICEF," with Jessica O’Herron, Global Citizenship Fellow, and Hillary Larman, National Office Fellow, U.S. Fund for UNICEF.   During this informal gathering you will learn about the intersection of social justice and sustainability, as well available fellowships, internships, and volunteer opportunities to join the fight for child survival.

Introduction to Undergraduate Research at Columbia I:  What is Science Research?
Part I will focus on what science research is and can potentially be for an undergraduate, the diversity of current science research at Columbia (including work that is not necessarily at the lab bench), the broad academic and personal benefits of research experience, and individual student perspectives on research.  The workshop will include a panel discussion featuring research-active Columbia College, SEAS and Barnard juniors and seniors.

Prior to fall enrollment, entering first-year program participants attend a mandatory five-week Summer Bridge Program offered through Academic Success Programs.  Participants take courses in Calculus, Statistics, Writing, Literature Humanities, Physics, Psychology, and Chemistry to prepare for the academic work required of Columbia students.

The last day for CC students to choose the Pass/D/Fail grading option and for SEAS students to choose the Pass/Fail grading option for spring 2014 is THIS THURSDAY, March 27.

You must fill out an Add/Drop form and turn it in to the Center for Student Advising (403 Lerner) before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27.

Please double and triple check your schedule on SSOL (not CourseWorks) to make sure that you are registered for the classes you have been attending. If you see a problem, make an appointment with your advising dean ASAP!!
