Wednesday, September 12, 2012 - The Center for Student Advising is pleased to announce that Patrick Lawlor, Columbia College ’13, is the winner of a new Apple iPad. Patrick’s name was drawn from a pool of students automatically entered into the contest after participating in the CSA 2011-12 student survey. Last year, 40% of the student body participated in the survey.
CPS is pleased to offer a support group to incoming first years in CC and SEAS. As exciting as the transition to college is, it is not without its stresses; this group will afford first years an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from one another how best to take full advantage of the academic and social opportunities-- and how best to meet the new challenges-- of life on this most dynamic of urban campuses, while perhaps making a few new friends along the way.
