Highlights this week include our program on Wednesday for international students in partnership with the International Students and Scholars Office. Also on Wednesday, meet with recruiters and alumni from Baublebar.com, Bloomingdales, DKNY, Macy's, Marc Jacobs, and Saks 5th Avenue at CCE's Fashion Industry Showcase. Tomorrow, there is a NYC Tech Talent Draft on campus and, on Friday, opportunity to hear from entrepreneur and Editor-in-Chief of BuzzFeed, Ben Smith.
Peer Adviser Post: Declaring a Major

Supported by a generous grant from President Bollinger, the Presidential Global Fellowship funds a highly select group of current first year CC, SEAS and GS students to study abroad in summer 2014. The Fellowship aims to help these students develop a strong global foundation for their Columbia education by supporting them in finding meaningful opportunities to engage a broad range of global topics throughout their undergraduate career.
The requirements for the Biomedical Engineering major are changing, and current first-year students who declare BME next year will be the first class affected. Information obtained from this session will help with academic planning and registration for future semesters.

Are you thinking about studying abroad next year? Come to our General Information session to learn about all of the possibilities of integrating a term or year abroad into your time at Columbia. Topics covered will include: eligibility, types of programs, language requirements, programs in English, programs for scientists & engineers, credit, and more. Students who have studied abroad will speak about their experiences abroad and answer questions.
