We help students with all aspects of applying for fellowships—from ascertaining the best scholarships given a student’s unique background and areas of intellectual and professional interest, to working on drafts of the application, to preparing for interviews. Interested in applying for the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Fulbright, or Gates-Cambridge?
If you are a junior or a senior interested in one of these fellowships which will fund graduate work or independent research overseas in the British Isles, or in the case of the Fulbright, anywhere in the world, then you should consider applying. The deadline for pre-applications has been extended until Monday, 27 March 2006. Preparing for advanced study at graduate school?
If you have applied, or are planning to apply, to graduate school, you may be eligible for the Harry J. Carman Fellowship. This fellowship is awarded to up to two graduating seniors in Columbia College; it provides financial support to College alumni undertaking advanced study. The deadline for this competition is Friday, 29 April, 2006.
Preparing to study law at Columbia Law School?
If you have applied, or are planning to apply, to the Columbia Law School, you may be eligible for a Holthusen-Schindler Scholarship. This scholarship provides financial support to College alumni undertaking a law degree at the Columbia Law School. Preparing to pursue a creative project while traveling after graduation?
If you are interested in pursuing a creative non-course work project situated outside of New York City after graduation, you may be eligible for the Henry Evans Traveling Fellowship. This grant, funded by a gift of Mrs. Henry Evans in memory of her husband, Henry Evans, Class of 1881, supports a graduating senior to complete an independent project. You must have good academic standing and have the necessary background to complete the project in a timely fashion. The award is for approximately $4000.
