Office Hours & Appointments

The Office of Financial Aid & Educational Financing is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm eastern standard time.

You may schedule an appointment in advance to meet with your financial aid advisor. To do so, please call our main line at (212) 854-3711 or email ugrad-finaid@columbia.edu. We encourage you to contact our office as early as possible to schedule as appointments are subject to availability. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

During the semester we have regular walk-in hours where financial aid advisors are available for quick in-person meetings on the following days of the week:  Monday 3:00-5:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-4:00pm, and Friday mornings 10:00am-12:00pm. No appointment is needed during these walk-in hours; however, if your questions require more in-depth discussion, you may need to schedule a follow up appointment.
