Events/Workshops

First-in-Family Programs (FiF) serves Columbia’s first-generation undergraduates (and those who identify as first-gen) in order to help them thrive in the college environment. We offer seminars, academic advising, social events, and informal support to build community and help all Columbia students excel.  Questions about joining the First-in-Family First Year Seminar in the Fall of 2024 (first years only)?  Feel free to email us at fif@columbia.edu.  You can also follow us on Instagram at @fifcolumbia.
