Columbia Urban Experience 2020 Leader Application

Leaders for the Columbia Urban Experience (CUE) program have a passion for engaging in critical and inclusive dialogues surrounding social justice, ethical service, and identities. Leaders must be committed to engaging with folks from diverse lived experiences, along with cultivating and inspiring CUErs in their social justice and leadership endeavors in communities they identify with, in New York City, and beyond.

No prior experience with CUE is required to apply! All Barnard and Columbia undergraduate students are welcome.
This year, the program will be undergoing changes to emphasize dialogues surrounding social justice and civic engagement.

The 2020 CUE program for the incoming class of 2024 will require a commitment of:

CUE Leader Retreat: March 28, 2020, 9am to 6pm
CUE Week: August 23 through August 30, 2020
- Leaders arrive on campus for a two-day leadership training followed by a five- day program.
- The costs of housing and meals will be completely covered during this period and through the end of NSOP.

An optional information session for interested applicants will be held on Tuesday, February 18 2020 from 5:30-6:00pm in Diana 501. All who are interested are invited to attend!

Applications for the leader positions will open on Friday, February 7, 2020. Applications are due Sunday, February 23, 2020 at midnight (EST).
