The University of Chicago's Division of Biological Sciences (BSD) is offering a Summer Research Training Program for undergraduates in their sophomore or junior year. The program is intended for students currently studying at undergraduate institutions in the United States. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for students to experience research at the graduate level and to prepare and encourage undergraduates to pursue a Ph.D. in the biological sciences.
Eligibility:
The program is offered to undergraduates in their sophomore or junior year with preferably a 3.0 (B, on a 4.0 scale), or better, cumulative grade point average. All minorities, including African American, Latino, Mexican American/Chicano, Native American, and Puerto Rican, are strongly encouraged to apply. Students must be either U.S. citizens or attending an undergraduate institution in the United States.
