The Joslin Diabetes Center Summer Research Student Internship Program provides 8-12 weeks of research experience for undergraduate (current or completed) and current or upcoming medical students under the supervision of Joslin research investigators. The goal of this program is to provide practical exposure to biomedical research, ranging from clinically focused to basic science investigation. In addition, students will participate in didactic sessions related to diabetes pathophysiology and treatment and at the end of the program will present results from their research efforts to their student colleagues and Joslin research staff.
