Columbia Spirit
Senior Marshal
Charlie Wallace is a senior from Denver, Colorado graduating with a double major in political science and East Asian languages and culture. He has spent his entire Columbia career giving back to the institution that he is incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to attend. Charlie is being recognized for his service to the Columbia community through his involvement in student council as the sophomore and junior Columbia College Class of 2023 President and as the Columbia College student body president this year. He has also been a tour guide for Columbia Admissions through the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee for all four years. He was a Training, Onboarding, and Engagement intern helping train guides and improve campus tours last year. His main goal was always to help leave Columbia an even better place than he had found it.
Thank you to my mom, dad, brother, Pop, Pahteeha, and the rest of my family and friends. You have all made my journey to Columbia and success here possible with your endless support. Additionally, thank you to the entire Columbia community who helped me find a forever home here. Deans Susan Chang, Cristen Kromm, and Dr. Melanie Bernitz have been outstanding campus role models, resources, and collaborators. Congratulations to the other award winners!
