Joanna is a Medical Humanities major passionate about health and wellness. She recently retired as the Presidents of Columbia Pops and Columbia Gardening, where she worked to foster safe and inclusive communities on campus. As a researcher and writer at Columbia Health's Alice! Health Promotion, she aimed to improve health communications, literacy, and awareness. She is currently furthering her understanding of health equity abroad and is excited about new opportunities in the year ahead. She is being recognized for her dedication to promoting the wellness of the Columbia community and beyond.
