Josiah Keys (CC'26) is an undergraduate student pursuing a major in African-American Studies with a concentration in History, focusing on Racially Hierarchical Systems and Carceral Systems. His additional interests span Queer & Trans Black Political and Performance History, Legal Approaches to Voting Advocacy, and the history of Black Radical Political Thought and Movements. Josiah is being recognized for his leadership and advocacy within Columbia's Black Student Organization and community, as well as his commitment to intersectional advocacy and liberation for QTPOC students both at Columbia and beyond.
