Columbia College Visiting Students Program

The Visiting Student Program at Columbia College offers students who are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate program at another college or university, the opportunity to study at Columbia for one or two semesters. The program serves as an opportunity for students to broaden their undergraduate experiences and is intended as a supplement to the undergraduate program at their home institution.

Coming from undergraduate institutions across the country and across the world, Visiting Students bring a wide range of experiences and perspectives to Columbia, enriching the cultural and intellectual landscape of our community. The Center for Student Advising recognizes the unique experiences and challenges faced by Visiting Students as they must quickly acclimate to a new environment, navigate a new system, and integrate into a new community.  Towards this end, the Center for Student Advising provides a variety of programs and services for Visiting Students, designed to provide information, connect them to campus resources, and facilitate their integration into the Columbia community.
