COLUMBIA 101: Alumni Volunteer Interest Form

COLUMBIA 101 welcomes incoming students and families into the Columbia community and offers information about academics, life on campus, and networking before the New Student Orientation Program in August. As a Columbia College (CC) or Columbia Engineering (SEAS) alumnus, we would love to have you attend to welcome the class of 2018.

A key tradition of this program is the alumni book presentation. Each incoming CC student receives a copy of The Iliad, a book read by every College graduate since the early 1900's. Incoming SEAS students will receive Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation, by Steven Johnson. Afterwards, alumni and students will have a chance to mingle, ask questions, and share stories. As an alumnus, we invite you to join us for this special event as we welcome our newest Columbians.

ARC members are graduates of Columbia College and Columbia Engineering who support the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by interviewing applicants, representing Columbia at local college fairs and hosting regional programs for admitted students, so that as many students as possible have the opportunity to learn about the unique Columbia experience firsthand.

If you are interested in learning more about ARC, we invite you to join us in select cities at the information session concurrent with COLUMBIA 101.

Please visit the ARC website and learn more about the ARC Interview Process.
