The Office of Parent and Family Programs

The Office of Parent and Family Programs is housed in the Dean of Student Affairs Office and serves parents and families of students in both Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. The office exists to assist families with the transition to college, connect parents and family members to Columbia and one another, and serve as a resource for families.

Throughout the year, the Office of Parent and Family Programs plans events, publishes various communications, and corresponds with families. Please visit the links on the left of this page to see the events and resources made available by the Office of Parent and Family Programs.

Undoubtedly, you will have a number of questions and concerns during your student's transition to Columbia and throughout his or her Columbia career. The Office of Parent and Family programs is pleased to be your first point of contact and would like to assist you along the way.
