John Jay Hall

john jay facade

John Jay stands 15 stories high and is composed mainly of single occupancy rooms exclusively for first-year students. Bathrooms in John Jay are either communal (separate for men and women) or individual, depending on the floor. The lounges on each floor have cable TVs, and provide space for floor programming, socializing or studying. The University’s Primary Health Care Medical Services is located on the fourth floor.  The main dining hall on campus, John Jay dining hall, is located on the ground floor. JJ’s Place is conveniently located in the basement for late-night snacks.  The John Jay main lounge is a great place for large events, meetings, studying, or playing the grand piano.
