Fraternity & Sorority Life at Columbia University
Fraternity & Sorority Life is one of the most rewarding experiences a student can have,
helping them to form a bond and be a part of a community. The Greek community is comprised of
33 diverse, nationally affiliated chapters. Fraternity & sorority members share in service,
scholastic, philanthropic, cultural, and leadership experiences while also participating in self-governance.
Under the auspices of the Office of Residential Programs, the fraternity & sorority system provides
housing for hundreds of students and is a vital component of Columbia's residential experience.
