Meet the Associate Director of Southfield
Deb Pawlikowski is the Associate Director for the undergraduate residential area commonly known as ”Southfield.“ Deb joined the Columbia University team in September, 2006. She and her staff of 38 live and breathe the out of classroom experience of Columbia’s First-Year students. Deb comes to Columbia after ten years working in Residence Life at Cornell University. Prior to Cornell, Deb worked on the Residence Life teams at her alma maters; Drew University and the University of Delaware. Deb’s professional experience also includes a semester working on the student life team and living on a ship transformed in to a floating campus, while sailing around the world with 600+ students, staff and faculty as part of the Semester at Sea program. Continuing on her ivy tour, Deb works as a Dean with a residential academic summer enrichment program, most recently on the campus of Princeton University, living and working with students in grades 4-11, future Columbians included!
