COÖP is a pre-orientation program for incoming first year students to Columbia College and Columbia Engineering. New students participate in one of three programs - hiking (HOP), biking (BOP) or river canoeing (ROP) and are led by COÖP leaders who are trained to lead small groups of new students through either HOP, BOP or ROP. 

 

Selected leaders will attend required training sessions during spring semester, and will then take part in COÖP's Spring Trip, a hands-on training experience, from Saturday, May 16 through Tuesday, May 19. Leaders will return to campus on Monday, August 24 to lead Fall Trip beginning on Tuesday, August 25 through Saturday, August 29.

 

Applications for new leaders are open to current first year and sophomore students in Columbia College or Columbia Engineering, and are due via this form by Friday, February 14 at 5:00 p.m. Applicants will be contacted shortly after the deadline about possible next steps in the application process.
